SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

AT MEDINA Canal Basin

SAT. OCT 12^TH   10:00 – 3:00pm 

2nd annual Scarecrow Fest throughout Historic downtown and other businesses in the village. Scarecrows are on display in front of shops from Friday Oct 12-Sunday Oct 28th. On Sat Oct 13th the MAKE-IT-TAKE-IT SCARECROWS will be held in the canal basin (behind Main St.) from 10:00 - 3:00. (Rain date) Sat Oct 20th. For a $5.00 donation you get a pair of panty hose and we'll have piles of shirts, pants and accessories (hats, belts) etc. that  you get to chose your scarecrows outfit, then you start stuffing it with straw. When you get the legs and the top part of your scarecrow stuffed, you bring it over to the operating table and Lions club members will help put your scarecrow together. You can either get a scarecrow face pre-painted or you can paint your own face on. Also there will be facepainting, food tent, story telling, games and lots of other family fun events. Scattered throughout Main St. will be Scarecrows For Cancer for sale. For $20 you can purchase a Cancer Scarecrow that were made by elementary students. 100% of money will be donated to the Cancer Society. When you get done making your scarecrow walk down Main St, laugh at our scarecrows, shop in our quaint shops and eat at our restaurants.
