About LPEC
In 1976 Lake Plains Eye Center started out as a small office located in
the rear of the Mruczek Family house at 801 West Center Steet, Medina. After a
six month working in the two room office, the building at 500 Erie Street was conceived, two building
lots were secured and the Lake Plains Eye Center was built. Founded by
Arthur W Mruczek Sr MD. in June 1976 the center was built specifically for the
Practice of Ophthalmology. Many of the Rooms are elongated in a triangular
fashion to allow proper length to Refract or Check for Glasses. We are
equiped with the State of the art diagnostic and therapeutic instrumentation to
assist comprehensive Eye Care.

Our Nationally trained and Certified Staff provide Pediatric and Adult Ophthalmic Servies.
