      Please try very hard to attend the Anniversary Dinner on the 20^th of October held at the Apple Grove in for $25.00 per person. Get your Reservations in ASAP.  Lions Donna Bushover and Betty Hassall have been putting a lot of time and energy organizing and planning this Event.  It you are called upon to help out, please don’t hesitate.      

     The Sub District convention will be held at the Diplomat Party House, Rochester, New York October 21^st beginning at 9:00am and ending at 3:30pm.  Cost is $12.00 per person for Lunch.  If you want to go, contact me.          

     The Club purchased a Ticket for the Leadership Raffle.  Several individual Lions donated $5.00 towards three other tickets.  We lack two Lions at $5.00 each to complete those purchases.  If interested, contact me.  We all split if any winners except the Club Ticket.                                        

We will be ‘ringing the Bell’ at Ames again this Christmas Holiday.  The proceeds are for the Salvation Army and this year we are ‘ringing’ December 22^nd and 23^rd.   

The Canal task force has informed us that Stedman’s Nursery is donating some Lilac Trees and Shrubs for Lions Club Park. 

Our quest Speaker on October 17^th will be Bobby Guzik, Laura (his mother) and Mrs. Jill Pariso (Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired). We will be making another Presentation to him that evening.  It should be a very interesting evening and lots of fun
