Happy Holidays

     Thank you for the great turn out for the District Governor Visit, I really appreciate it very much.

The Board voted to give $100 towards a reward for the arrest and conviction of anyone vandalizing the State Street Park Decorations. I thank you! Again I am getting awful frustrated I hope this will stop the problem. I replaced over 100 bulbs again Sunday 12/10/00. That brings the total for this year to close to 500 bulbs.

     Enclosed is a sign up sheet to ring the bell for the Salvation Army. We will be ringing the bell at Ames on Dec. 22 & 23. Please take a turn and remember to show up. Let me know what times you want when your caller calls this weekend.

      We do not have anyone singing for us at our Christmas Meeting on the 19th. Terry Feig is bringing his CD player so we will have our own Chorus. If you have a favorite cassette tape or CD bring it along. Santa has also said he might slide down the chimney at the Erie Inn. This will also be a spouse's, or significant other, night so join us for some fun.

Poinsettia sale.  Last delivery date is December 22^nd. This is our one big money making drive for the year.  The drive will only be as successful as you make it. If you don’t participate, our year will be less of a success.  All we are asking is for every Lion to try real hard to sell at least 10 Poinsettias.  Please get your Sale Hat on and sell, sell, sell… More order forms available from Don Colquhoun or you may use Xerox copies’.
