                               Lion Pete Huth is turning 60 on March 24 and he would like everyone to help him celebrate.  We are all invited to help him celebrate at the American Legion on North Main Street between 7 and 10pm on the 24^th.  Beer and Beef will be served.  Pete requests no gifts, only a hug!

                               Lion Dave Kennedy had the opportunity and purchased two tickets to the In-Sync Concert in June 2001 at Rich Stadium.  Medina Lions will be holding a ‘raffle’ as a fund raiser.  Watch for your tickets!

                               Election of Officers will soon be upon us. We have our top 3 Officers all set, but we will need a commitment from someone for 3^rd VP. That Lion would be in line for Club President in the 2004/2005 Lions Year. If anyone is interested contact Doc or me.

                              The Enviromental Cleanup Day is Ap;ril 21, 2001 (Saturday) from 9am-1pm.  Lions Pet Huth and CJ Woodroff have lined up a program and will be working with area civic and Business Groups to ‘get the job done’. So far we have commitments from Canal Task Force, Rotary, Masons, The Boy Scouts, The Girl Scouts, Medina Business Association, Hartway Motors, American Legion, Medina School Teachers, and MAAC Church Groups.

                               Lyndonville Lion Steve DeVine contacted us about our interest working with Lyndonville Lions building a House for Habitat.  At our next meeting, March 20^th .a representative from Habitat will be our guest Speaker and present the necessary Information.

                                Lion Don Colquhoun has requested our Help constructing a 24’ x 48’ Recreational Building.  So get your hammers and saws ready.  The construction project needs to be completed by the end of June 2001 for the camp season.
                               A FUND raiser to benefit John Rabideau’s bid for internationsl Director will be held April 1^st.  There will be three seatings for a Spaghetti Dinner in Churchville.  They are looking for donations to raffle during the dinner.
