NOTICES:

--------------------Our Heartfelt Condolences are extended to the Family of Lion Chesbro Callard. A Lions Flower was sent on behalf of the Club for the Memorial on October 20th at the 1st Presbyterian Church. ‘Chub’ was a lifetime Lion and will be dearly missed.

--------------------Lions Poinsettia Sale has set a Goal of 12 Plants from each lion, 600 Plants.  Lions Don Colquhoun and Dean Bellack will be glad to accept your offer to assist the Lions Poinsettia Committee, just ask.

--------------------Lions Membership Committee has set a Goal of 10 new members for this Year. Your friends frequently have the same ideals and interests as you. Consider inviting them to our next meeting.  Lions Dave Viterna and Mike O’Keefe will be glad to offer the assistance of the Lions Membership Committee, just ask.
--------------------Tee Shirts are printed and will be available at any activity. They are $10 (SML), $11(XL), $12(XXL) and $13(XXXL). Remember to wear our Medina Lions Logo when ‘We serve’.

News EVENTS:

--------------------20-E1 Lions Sub-District Convention will be at Rupert’s, Hornell, Saturday November 10th, 2001

--------------------District Governor Jon Legro Visit November 28th on WEDNESDAY, hosted by the Apple Grove. This will be a joint meeting with Lyndonville Lions. We are assured of an inspiring message about Lionism.
--------------------Lions Convention will be in Binghamton this spring; if you are going – notify Lion John McElwain

--------------------Lions Salvation Army Bell Ringing at Ames this year December 21st and 22nd … info to follow.

EVENTS Reports:

--------------------The Community Spaghetti Supper October 21st was a great success. Proceeds will be used to help with Lion Dave Bushover’s new leg.  Lion Steve Morse said Medina Lions did a great job with Advertising and selling Tickets selling over $1000.00 in tickets.  The project included the Medina Masons, Presbyterian Men’s Association and the Shelby Fire Company. Lion’s workers included Bale, Bellack, Bellucci, Conroy, Huth, Mark, McElwain, Morse, Mruczek, Reichard, Winters, and Zimmerman. A similar event will be planned for next year.
