NOTICES:

--------------------Lions Leo’s Committee has met and Lion Terry Feig is starting plans to form a Lions Leo’s of Medina!

--------------------Lions Chili Bake-Off March 3, 2002, at Shelridge Country Club. Bob Winters and CJ Woodruff are looking for your ‘best baked chili entry’.  More information will follow.

--------------------Lions Membership Committee will be distributing ‘Visit Medina Lions Wallet Cards” at the next meeting, February 5th. They have set a Goal of 10 new members for this Year. Your friends frequently have the same ideals and interests as you. Consider inviting them to our next meeting.  Lions Dave Viterna and Mike O’Keefe will be glad to offer the assistance of the Lions Membership Committee, just ask.
--------------------Tee Shirts are printed and will be available at any activity. They are $10 (SML), $11(XL), $12(XXL) and $13(XXXL). Remember to wear our Medina Lions Logo when ‘We serve’.

News EVENTS:

--------------------Lions Valentines Day Celebration on February 19th at The Fairview Restaurant will include Dinner Salad, Baked Potato, Rolls, Butter, Coffee and Tea.  There will be a Choice of Main Course: Grilled 8oz N.Y. Strip Steak – Grilled Chicken Breast – Broiled Fish.  You will need to respond to your caller before 2/13/2002 to reserve a meal for you and your guest.

--------------------Lions Convention will be in Binghamton this spring; if you are going – notify Lion John McElwain

--------------------President Elect John Bale reports Salvation Army Bell Ringing at Christmas. The lions collected $956.21.  Our thanks go out to Bell Ringer Workers. The total amount raised was $17,529,22, a 3% increase over the amount raised in 2000

--------------------Lions Super Bowl Pancake Breakfast February 3, 2002, was a success with over 160 served.

--------------------Lions Wellsville 60th Anniversary February 16, 2002, Alfred New York

-------------------- Empire State Speech & Hearing Clinic wrote to Lion Fritz Hart, Cabin Program Chair. His committee will investigate and make recommendations to the board about Adoption of Cabin 10 at Camp Badger.
