ARTS AND CRAFTS SHOW Application Information

The Medina Garage Sale Committee cordially invites you to apply to participate in our 4st

annual Garage Sale. This year's fFlea Market and activities will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006.

BOOTH ACCEPTANCE

As in last years event, Flea Market will take place on the 'Old Pickle Factory Parking Area'. 

Booths for Crafters, Exhibitors, and Antiques will be available on a first come basis. 

A 20 foot by 30 foot booth will cost $20.00 and Corner booths are $30.00

Booths may not be occupied before 7:00am on June 7th, 2008

 

THE PURPOSE OF THE Medina Garage Sale

• To promote Medina's Garage Sales, Medina Lions Club, and residents.

• To give local NON-PROFIT groups the opportunity to raise money at food booths.

EXHIBITOR CONTRACT

1. The Medina Garage Sale Committee reserves the right to request the removal of any exhibit or part thereof. Participation in future shows will be jeopardized if committee feels necessary.

2. Single, double and corner booths will be assigned at the discretion of the Medina Garage Sale. The need for a double booth must be requested in writing (see bottom of application). A request does not guarantee the space. The Medina Garage Sale Committee. reserves the right to assign spaces at their discretion.

3. Exhibitors must supply their own displays, tables and tents. You may not drive stakes, posts, etc into the ashphalt..

4. Vehicles will be allowed on the festival grounds at the discretion of Medina Lions Club. If vehicles are allowed, they must be emptied and promptly removed from Festival grounds to assigned parking. All crafter vehicles must be off the grounds by 8:30 a.m.

Failure to comply may result in the removal of the exhibit.

5. Exhibit spaces are 20' X 30'.

Exhibitors must confine their displays and materials to their assigned and allotted space(s).

Displays may not extend beyond the white striped area.

6. FLEA MARKET HOURS

Saturday, June 7, 2008   9 am - 3 pm 

ALL FLEA MARKET SET-UPS MUST BE COMPLETED BY 9 A.M. SATURDAY, JUNE 3. ALL

DISPLAYS MUST BE REMOVED BY 6:00 P.M. ON SATURDAY, JUNE 6 .

7. Exhibits must be open and staffed during ALL scheduled Festival hours. Failure to do so will jeopardize acceptance into future shows.

8. Booth numbers must be visible at all times.

9. All exhibitors are responsible for collecting and reporting New York State Sales Tax. A copy of your "New York State Certificate of Authority" must be displayed in your exhibit. You WILL NOT be allowed to participate in the show without this certificate. If you do not have one, you can obtain information by calling within New York State 800-462-8100. Out-of-state call 518-438-1073.

10. Incomplete applications will not be given consideration.

11. The booth fee must be submitted with your application BEFORE JUNE 3RD TO GUARANTEE A BOOTH.

12. Checks that are returned for insufficient funds could result in booth cancellation.

13. Postage due applications will not be accepted.

14. No entry fee refunds will be given after your application has been accepted.

15. No electricity is available to exhibitors and no generators are allowed without prior written authorization

16. There are no rain dates. Use of building will not be permitted in case of rain.

17. The Medina Garage Sale and the Medina Lions will not be responsible for damage, loss of personal property, personal injury, or accidents involving the exhibitors.

18. You may not sell your space or trade it, in part or whole, to another exhibitor.


Please use this checklist to assure all requirements have been met.

BRING COPY of Sales Tax Id # ( If you were accepted last year, we do not need a new copy)

Check for correct amount.
